In Autumn 2005, the Get Awesome Ninjas played the all night WGSU 24 hour live broadcasting marathon. It was really great and a lot of WGSU people were present, crammed into the studio and offices for it.

2005 was the year of the first annual WGSU Thanksgiving potluck. We did it at Zach, Neil and Jeff's house on North street. Tons of DJs and WGSU staff showed up. The place was packed with people! And there was a lot of food. Isaac made a speech. I think there are pictures of the event on Mo's Flickr. The following year we did it in one of the residence halls to give us more space, but there was something very heartwarming about that first one.

I just stumbled upon this blog, and conveniently have been presented with an opportunity to comment on my injury. It was my ankle!

As I recall, Dan and I retired to the house early due to our wounds. Dan wandered off to find the bathroom but instead ended up throwing up in our laundry room and later in the basement stairwell, things that are funny to some extent in retrospect but really were just frightening at the time. I also seem to remember Dan not having health insurance which was unfortunate. The food was good, though! Kudos to Megan Dietl and Rebecca R. Ripley, who I think did most of the cooking?
